Thanks to you, we can discover many impressive talents that deserve more attention in the future.
 Delays in the announcement of the winners Due to the high number of applications, the review of all submitted works of art and the associated artist statements is more extensive than we originally expected. We want to do justice to all participants and take the necessary time for each work. Therefore, the determination of the winners has unfortunately been delayed. New schedule: The announcement of the winners is scheduled for April 2025. Festive exhibition: Following this, we are planning an exhibition with the award-winning works in Berlin in May 2025. Of course, you will receive all information about the award ceremony, the winners' exhibition and all future events in good time. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Challenges and background information Change of name "Berlin Art Award" to "Berlin Award For Visual Arts" Unfortunately, unexpected difficulties have arisen in recent weeks that have influenced the course of the art award. Two disqualified artists tried to sabotage the art prize by spreading false information. These artists specifically wrote to art galleries and institutions in Berlin and called for a boycott. As a result, we faced legal disputes because a Berlin art academy wanted to prohibit us from using the name "Berlin Art Award". Elite art circles therefore want to claim patronage over Berlin art prizes, in which only academics can participate! In order to avoid further legal disputes, we have decided to change the name "Berlin Art Award" to "Berlin Award For Visual Arts". In order to protect our jury and the new venue, we have decided to withhold further details until the winners are announced. We sincerely ask for your understanding for this precautionary measure. Additional background information - Our commitment to your art Our team is currently busy sending invitations to entrepreneurs and personalities from the art market. We are paying particular attention to a purchasing-power audience so that the eventual winners of the art prize can also benefit directly from potential buyers and collectors. The planning of the winners' vernissage is very extensive. In addition to a red carpet and high-profile invitations, high five-figure costs can be incurred. Conceptual Depth Assessment of the depth and intellectuality of the concept behind the artwork. This includes how well the work addresses and reflects thematic or philosophical questions. Emotional Impact Evaluation of the emotional resonance that the artwork evokes in the viewer. A powerful artwork can elicit a wide range of emotions or provoke thought. Artistic Expression This criterion assesses how well the artist can articulate their intentions and the meaning of the work. This helps deepen the understanding and relevance of the work. Degree of Innovation & Creativity his criterion considers how the artist transcends traditional boundaries and uses new creative solutions or approaches in their work. Presentation & Overall Impression How professionally is the artwork presented? The overall impression can also include the layout, integration into the exhibition space, and interaction with the audience.

The jury is complemented by the expertise of established gallery owner Guinchi, who not only studied art but has also exhibited more than 1,500 artists. Over the past nine years, he has actively cultivated relationships with numerous art collectors and buyers, giving him a keen eye for market-relevant quality. Christoph of Aurum Future rounds out the team of experts with his outstanding experience in art marketing and sales.
